Mrs. Orloske began teaching technology at St. Mary of the Lake School in 2007. She holds an associate’s degree from Minnesota School of Business, mini master of software design & development from the University of St. Thomas. Prior to coming to St. Mary’s, Mrs. Orloske worked for a White Bear Lake public elementary school for seven years as the computer assistant responsible for working with the students in technology, website development, SmartBoard implementation and all the technology needs within the school. Before coming out of retirement as a domestic engineer raising her four beautiful boys, Mrs. Orloske spent 15 years in the private sector as an IT Manager/System Analyst working with or writing a wide range of business applications.
Mrs. Orloske believes that technology is our future and loves to share her knowledge. She teaches at St. Mary’s to help the students be the best that they can be in technology and be prepared for the future, because they are our future.
Little known facts: Mrs. Orloske was a school bus driver for the White Bear Lake School District for three years prior to returning to the technology field. She loves the Harry Potter series of books, and she spends most of her summers up north with family. |
