St. Mary of the Lake Preschool (ages 3-5) begins the partnership
between families and school by fostering developmentally appropriate
learning based on our:
- Philosophy that “play is the work of young children”
- Belief in the essential building blocks for successful learning
and living: making choices, solving problems and treating others
respectfully
- Utilization of learning centers to build social, physical and
academic skills through hands-on experiences
- Daily prayer and spiritual lessons which build a child’s
awareness of God and celebrate His many gifts
Mission Statement:
St. Mary of the Lake Preschool assists families, the primary
educators of their children, in the pursuit of academic and spiritual
growth based on the developmental uniqueness of each child.
