Welcome to Fourth Grade!!!

Hello! My name is Melissa Capocasa. This is my fourth year as a Fourth Grade Teacher here at St. Mary of the Lake School. I grew up in Austin, Minnesota and attended a Catholic school from K-12th grade. I personally know the benefits of living and learning in a spiritual environment. My family consists of my husband (Bill), daughter (Kaley), son (Bradley), and daughter (Addison). I am fortunate to have both of my children attend St. Mary of the Lake School. I have taught for over 14 years with most of that time in the Catholic Schools. Working with children is truly a passion of mine. I enjoy the opportunity to stretch their thinking and encourage children to challenge themselves and fully reach their potential. When I am not teaching you can find me working in my garden, on long walks with my family or playing many different sports with my children. I feel very blessed to be a part of this wonderful school and am excited to get to know all of you.
