The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the process
that helps to incorporate those adults who have not been
baptized or those who have been baptized in another
christian tradition who are called to join the Catholic
Communion, or Catholics who have not completed their
initiation through confirmation and eucharist.
An essential ministry in the RCIA process is that of sponsor.A sponsor is one who journeys with an adult who is in this
process. Yes, it takes time. Yes, it is a commitment.
But what is more rewarding and fulfilling than sharing your
faith and getting to know someone on this level? And besides,
the payment or reward is “out of this world”!The RCIA group meets on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
