Outreach Ministries
Outreach Ministries is the part of parish life that emphasizes the Gospel call to discipleship. As disciples of Jesus we are called to teach, to heal, and to serve. By virtue of our Baptism, we are given gifts with which to minister to our sisters and brothers in our local and world community.

Our baptismal call means making Jesus present to those in need. It means connecting people with needs to those people who are willing to serve. The Outreach Ministries are a response to this call to discipleship and carry out the mission of St. Mary of the Lake.
 

Outreach Committee

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Outreach Committee of
St. Mary of the Lake is to fulfill the biblical imperatives
of prayer, care, charity, justice and community.

The committee oversees the various ministries under the Outreach Ministry umbrella. Regular monthly meetings of the committee are held for this purpose.

 

What Can You Do?
  • Consider joining the Outreach Ministry Committee. New members are always welcome on the Outreach Ministry Committee. Membership provides an excellent opportunity to become more familiar with and to support the ministries at St. Mary of the Lake.

  • Consider sharing your gifts in service to others.
