for the Workcamp Mission Trip on Saturday, June 14th and

Volunteers are needed! We need people to make a few phone
calls between July 1-18 to schedule donors, greeters to
sign people in on the day of the blood drive, people to
serve snacks, drivers to transport blood to the Roberts
Street Red Cross Center.

Plan ahead now to give blood on July 28th if you don't give
elsewhere after May 31, are at least 17 years of age (no
upper age limit), weigh a minimum of 110 pounds.

We are accepting registrations for our Vacation Bible School,
which is held the week of August 11-15, 2008. Participant
ages range from age 3 thru completion of Grade 5. The cost
is $30 (T-shirt included!) Helpers for the program should
have completed Grade 6 thru adult years of age. Volunteers,
please fill out the backside of the regular registration
form.

Metro Paint-A-Thon

Painting occurs this year on August 2, 2008; scraping and
priming is done during the 2 weeks prior to August 2nd.
This will be the 17th year of participation by a St. Mary's
team. We need 25 volunteers. Sign up at the Ministry Fair
on May 3-4, 2008 or in the Gathering Space May 11 and 19,
or call the Parish Life Center office at 651.429.7771 email

Mark your calendars now for our Annual Fall Festival Celebration!
You can return grand raffle tickets anytime in the collection
baskets or at the parish office. We are asking for donations
of all kinds to make this a successful parish event.
General store requests include: handmade knitted dish cloths,
dish towels (flour sack), embroidered pillowcases, dill
pickles, salsa (medium), jellies and jams. In the future,
we will be accepting donations for the grocery raffle and
for our baked goodies sections.
Jewelry Booth is accepting gently used pieces of jewelry.
Donations can be brought to church or the parish office.
Silent Auction is accepting donations such as gift cards,
theater/sports/airfare tickets, time-shares, handmade fine
artwork, or even a service. Pick up a special gift during
your summer travels!
